Maria specialises in canine hydrotherapy and small animal rehabilitation and is theGB agility team veterinary physiotherapist. She has worked in association with Barbara for several years jointly delivering an extensive range of exciting CPD courses both in Suffolk and at her rehabilitation centre in the midlands.
Maria works at national and international level in performance enhancement and rehabilitation strategies for the agility dog. Her wealth of experience and consistent success by providing the edge for her athletic animal clients uses a range of integrated treatment techniques including advanced hydrotherapy and aquatic therapy techniques.
Active Balance is a one stop centre delivering excellent clinical services for the midlands along with a number of training and teaching programmes and is part of CHRC Training. Maria and Barbara deliver the ABC Awards level 3 Certificate in hydrotherapy for small animals, where the course candidates have the opportunity to work in two different professional clinics, one in Suffolk and the other in Leicestershire. Maria is a lecturer, clinical educator, assessor and mentor on the ABC Awards Level 5 Diploma in hydrotherapy for small animals.
