Mel Doyle PgDipCABC, PgCertSART, BSc(Hons), MIRVAP, MRAMP, MIAVRT
Mel is a small animal veterinary physiotherapist and advanced canine hydrotherapist passionate about her clinical services for the dogs in her care at K9HS. She enjoys working with agility dogs and actively supporting their owners, linking this to training and performance at all levels. Mel is the K9HS Course Registrar and the first point of contact for those accessing the face to face training courses offered by K9HS.
Mel is a multi faceted canine specialist and actively endorses the animal centred and owner focused approach implemented by K9HS. She was awarded her post graduate Certificate (PGCert) in small animal rehabilitation with distinction by Nottingham University in 2014. This linked to her experience in training assistance dogs and owners plus her post graduate Diploma in companion animal behaviour counselling means Mel can offer her K9HS clients a complete and expansive package of care.
As a Council Officer for the Institute of Registered Veterinary and Animal Physiotherapists (IRVAP) she is an active member of the therapy community. Her social life is all about family and dogs. She competes at elite level agility and combines this to her extensive knowledge and experience of performance enhancement for canine athletes. Mel has a growing pack of dogs that include three border collies and has competed at Olympia and Crufts. Barbara enthusiastically supports her mobile physiotherapy service that she offers in Essex and at agility shows around the UK (www.k9physio-therapy.co.uk)
